Set by the world's second deepest lake, Lake Tanganyika, Mahale Mountains National Park is remote, unspoiled and home to about 1000 chimpanzees, other primate species and mammals. The fascinating chimpanzee studies conducted by naturalists, such as Jane Goodall, have provided insight into their behavior, and this safari gives one the rare opportunity to quietly interact with the chimpanzees and learn to distinguish their individual personalities. An experience for the privileged few.
