This very special safari offers guests the unique experience of being close to nature in the heart of wild Africa, on a private and exclusive basis, in areas of outstanding beauty. The entire safari will be under canvas, featuring very special, luxury camps set up at private sites at the Ngorongoro Crater and in the Serengeti, and it will also visit Arusha, Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks. It ends with the comfort of Kirurumu Tented Lodge and flights back to Arusha to ease the journey home. Educational, guided nature walks (optional), night game drives, a visit to a Maasai "boma," bush breakfasts and bush lunches and a most interesting and thought-provoking lecture on Maasai culture. Day 1
Depart Arusha in the morning for Arusha NP. Bush lunch on the
rim of Ngurdoto Crater. Game viewing in afternoon. Depart for
Tamarind Camp for dinner and overnight. Night game drives when

Morning nature walk in the Tamarind area and along the boundary
of the park. Game drives in Tarangire National Park. Dinner and

Drive through the market village of Mto wa Mbu and up the escarpment
to Kirurumu Tented Lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drives in Lake

Morning game-drives in Lake Manyara National Park. After lunch,
guided ethno-botanical nature walk with Maasai, and visit an Iraqw
dwelling (a Cushitic people who left the highlands of Ethiopia

Day 5
Depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area and arrive at the Special
Camp with stunning views for lunch. Afternoon game drives in Ngorongoro
Crater. Return to Special Camp for evening lecture on Maasai culture,
the history of the Ngorongoro Conservation area, conservation
issues and the Maasai & Conservation at the Crossroads. (FB)

Guided walk on Crater rim with Maasai Guide and Ranger. After
lunch, further explore the crater with game drives. Dinner and

Stop at Olduvai Gorge, the "Cradle of Mankind," and
its museum, before ranging out across the vast expanse of the
