Spectacularly beautiful, Uganda is home to the largest collection of primates in Africa, including the Mountain Gorilla. It contains dark primeval forests, the Mountains of the Moon, volcanoes, great lakes, and enchanting landscapes. Here are just two sample itineraries from many which can be arranged:

Drive through the Kigezi Highlands and go gorilla tracking, then follow the game in the shadow of the Rwenzori.

Day 1
From Entebbe transfer to Sheraton/Grand Imperial Hotel in Kampala.

Day 2
Short morning tour of Kampala City. After lunch, drive to Lake View Hotel in Mbarara for overnight. (FB)

Day 3
Depart for Kabale, a trading town deep in the Kigezi Highlands, for lunch at White Horse Inn. Continue south to Bwindi National Park. Overnight National Park Bandas or African Pearl Homestead. (FB)

Day 4
Briefing from Guides followed by tracking the gorillas. A tough, arduous day in the forest awaits, but the reward is coming face to face with these great primates. Overnight Banda or Homestead. (FB)

Day 5
Leave for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Brief game-drive before dusk. Overnight Mweya Safari Lodge. (FB)

Day 6
Morning launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Afternoon game-drive. Overnight Mweya Safari Lodge. (FB)

Day 7
Return to Kampala via Mbarara. Overnight Lake Victoria Hotel, Entebbe. (FB)

Day 8
Transfer to Airport.
