For 2010, we are developing multiple departures of outstanding, 14-day (17 days round-trip from the USA), guided, deluxe "wing" safaris in Kenya (plus several extraordinary extensions). Each itinerary emphasizes quality time in quality places and utilizes comfortable bush flights to ease and expedite passage to our exclusive camps, thus maximizing time for superb game viewing and photography via safari-prepared, 4-wheel-drive vehicles as well as exhilarating excursions by foot, horseback, raft or hot-air balloon.

Naturalist/photographer Robert Cooper and our staff of safari experts guide each safari. All itineraries feature stays at Nairobi's acclaimed Ngong House tree-house lodge, a week at legendary Little Governors' Camp or Il Moran Camp in the famed Maasai Mara National Reserve and five nights at Cottar's 1920's Camp, Loisaba Wilderness Lodge or Campi ya Kanzi--the fabulous, small luxury establishments after which we have named our itineraries. All are among the most magnificent camps and reserves in Africa, and each of the latter camps is remotely located on an enormous private conservancy teeming with wildlife and scenic grandeur.

Additionally, for 2010, we have added an amazing Tanzanian option for our naturalist-led safaris that encompasses Tarangire NP, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the incomparable Serengeti. All of these departures highlight some of our favorite properties in northern Tanzania and include stays at Elewana properties including the Arusha Coffee Lodge, the Tarangire Treetops Lodge and the Serengeti Migration Camp.
